Carrie Walker, Ed.S. Director
Carrie earned a Bachelor Degree in Music Education and Master’s Degree in Special Education from Florida State University. She earned a Specialist in Education from the University of Florida and has completed all coursework for her Doctorate in Special Education at Nova Southeastern University. Carrie taught music and special education classes for 5 years in Tallahassee, FL and taught students with varying exceptionalities in Flagler County, FL for 5 years. She was a district behavior specialist and the coordinator of students’ with Autism for 2 years in Flagler County, FL. Her passion for creating a safe, individualized environment for student to grow, learn, and become independent has brought her to the position of Director of the FACE school.
Claire Stanford, M.S., BCBA Behavior Analyst
Claire earned her Bachelor and Master’s Degree in special education from Florida State University in 2007. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a certified teacher in the state of Florida. Claire has extensive experience working with individuals with a variety of disorders in the school and home setting. She has worked as a special education teacher in pre-k, elementary and high school. Claire also was a consultant for a clinic in California that specialized in developing verbal behavior programs for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities.
Kim Kelderhouse Teacher
Kim earned her bachelor degree in Special Education and child Development from Central Michigan University in 2006. She has taught for 7 years in a classroom for students with Emotional and Behavioral Disturbances and Intellectual Disabilities in Pasco County. For the past six summers, Kim has run a summer camp for children on the Autism Spectrum called CampCOAST.
Andrea Williams Teacher
Andrea holds a Bachelor degree in Criminology from St. Leo University and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from University of Central Florida. She has 7 years of experience working with Special Education students. Andrea has also taught high school students with Autism for 2 years.
Rashay Wilkinson Teacher
Rashay holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology with a minor in Public Health. She has worked as a tutor for children and adults (including those with Autism) for 10 years. Rashay has also worked at Frameworks of Tampa Bay, which focuses on social and emotional learning for children.
Demontrelle Smith Teacher Assistant
Demontrelle has a Bachelor degree in General Business from Texas A&M. He has 4 years of experience working at the Big Brothers Program with children and adolescents with Autism. He also works at Royal Care, which is an intensive care unit for adults with developmental disabilities.
Kelly Garofolo Teacher Assistant
Kelly has a Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. She has experience working with behavioral therapists and speech language therapists that specialize in children on the Autism Spectrum.
Maria C. Porter Teacher Assistant
Maria graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor degree in Linguistics and Japanese with certificates in American Sign Language and Asian Studies. She has 3 years of experience as a Teacher/Counselor working with youth on the Autism Spectrum.
