The 2013-2014 school year began on August 19, 2013 with much success. It has been my pleasure to lead the group of highly qualified professionals that have worked so hard for this to happen. They share my passion for our mission and are working as a team to meet the goals we have for our students and our school. Being here each day at FACE watching the kids growing and enjoying school is a testament to why I chose to accept this professional adventure. I am excited to be a part of each successful moment our students will have.
Students are participating in Speech, Language, and Occupational Therapy with therapists from Children’s Choice for Therapy. I have observed students working hard toward their individual goals in their therapy sessions. We are happy to have the therapists from Children’s Choice for Therapy on Campus as part of our team.
Earning dollars and shopping in the store has been very motivating for the students. Claire, our B.C.B.A, and I have ordered goodies that the kids are excited about purchasing. Students are working hard to stay on task and earn money. All of the data sheets toward IEP goals have been created and teachers are keeping data to track student progress. Parents will receive graphs monthly. We are in the process of accessing all of the students to ensure we are meeting their individual needs. All assessments will be completed by October 1. Please let me know if you have any questions.
